largest art museum in the world and one of the most visited tourist attractions
in the world. The Louvre first opened its doors over 200 years ago and has
steadily grown in popularity since. Its iconic 21-meter-tall pyramid entrance
wasn’t added until 1989 and has become a landmark of the city.
Home to
some of the most sought-after artworks in the world, which include the Mona
Lisa and the Venus de Milo, the Louvre is one of the top tourist attractions in
the world. If you are under 26, admission to the museum is free, regardless of
where you are from. Otherwise, be sure to visit on the first Saturday of each
month as it’s free then too. One day
